Idil Onen

Idil Onen is a historian who is currently a data member of Portrait of Unbelonging. She has been working to develop a digital mapping project that aims to visualize the destruction of Sur, Diyarbakir, Turkey, during and after the military operations carried out by the Turkish government against its Kurdish population in 2015–2016.
