Benjamin Foerster-Baldenius

Benjamin Foerster-Baldenius is an architect in Berlin. 1997 he founded the institute for applied building art. He is a member of raumlaborberlin, an architecture collective that works at the interface between architecture, research, city planning and art since 1999. They have contributed to various architecture biennials in Venice. He develops and coproduces projects in public spaces around the world and likes to talk about it. Currently he is preparing Floating University. He was a professor for architecture at the academy for art architecture and design in Prague (VSUP) and professor for transdiciplinary design at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen. Currently he teaches at the university Witten/Herdecke, the design academy Eindhoven and the royal academy in the Hague.
